As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Matthew 24:37
Right after the fig tree passage that we looked at in a previous article in this series, Jesus gives us a clue as to how things will be when his coming is near. He describes the people then as living normal lives, oblivious to the coming catastrophe, but I believe that he is referring to something else as well. If we take a look back in antiquity through the lens of the book of Genesis, we get a glimpse of what the world was like in the antediluvian age.
